A little about the author, Maureen O’Neill

About myself? I grew up with a great love of reading, instilled by my parents and weekly trips to the local library. My father was a printer, and I inherited from him both the skill and the compulsive need to proofread. My last twenty years in the business world was spent wearing more than a few hats, including manuscript technical editor, at a museum in rural Arizona.  I am intimately familiar with the pitfalls and pratfalls of small town life.  Now retired to a small town on the Oregon coast, I spend my days with my husband enjoying the beach, walking our two lovely whippets, and catering to the needs of three cats, who keep their feline magics to themselves for the most part.
